Captain Tim's Galley

Captain Tim Williams and his wife, Cindy, have opened a seafood restaurant in the quaint town of Buena Vista, VA. 

The restaurant offers a variety of delectable seafood with a family atmosphere and good service.  Tim began his cooking career in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. where he worked for Institutions Magazine's "Restaurant of the Year" for 1976, Marina Bay Yacht Club-New River Storehouse Restaurant.  He then moved back to his home town of Beulaville, N.C. where he held the head chef's position at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Country Club.  While he attended East Carolina University, he continued to work in the food service industry on campus.  Tim is now a fully licensed Merchant Marine Officer, Master of Towing Vessels-Unlimited.  After 20 years of east coast service, Tim has come back to his element, with the help of his wife Cindy, in the creation of Captain Tim's Galley-a true "Carolina Fish Camp".   The menu features all freshly made items including home-made hushpuppies, slaw, and a lightly seasoned breading that makes the prepared seafood perfect. Captain Tim's is a delightful family style restaurant with fantastic food and a wonderful staff to serve its customer needs. 

What We Do

Captain Tim's offers daily lunch specials  from 11a.m.- 2p.m.  The menu offers an exciting variety of seafood and meat lovers plates, soup, salads, and sandwiches.

Captain Tim's offers evening "All you can eat" dining from 5p.m.-8p.m.Tues.-Thurs. and 5p.m.-9p.m. Friday and Saturday.  Food is brought to your table "family style" as you order off the menu of appetizers, entrees and sides.  Dessert features our famous apple-crisp topped with vanilla ice-cream.  You'll go home satisfied, guaranteed!

We require that all in your party order "All you can Eat" and no "doggy bags" please.

If you're not that hungry... just order off the menu from a variety of dinner plates and combination plates. 

We offer Hershey's Ice-Cream in a variety of flavors to satisfy your ice-cream craving!!!  We have milk-shakes, sundaes, and cones.
